MY BROTHER’S WEDDING DAY

Donnie and Marilyn Wedding Kiss

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s not often we get to do photography for a wedding in our own families.  So, it’s extra special to capture the joy and love of the people we know and love ourselves.  I must admit, I did have a few tears, but luckily they only came out of one eye so I could still shoot with the other.

My brother married his partner of 20 years, Marilyn.  Donnie and Marilyn had a small, pretty wedding in our sister’s backyard in East Vancouver.  It was supposed to rain so we were prepared with tents, but, it turned out to be a beautiful and sunny day!  So, the tents were good for shade.  Tents can make getting good shots extra tricky as they aren’t the nicest background…but we make do.

My daughter was the flower girl and did a great job!  She took it seriously and enjoyed being part of her uncle’s special day.  She loves weddings, so it was a perfect time in her life to be a flower girl.
