My husband’s grandmother, Annabel, was 76 years old. She recently lost her battle with lung cancer. We celebrated her life at her home in Richmond.
On the way to Richmond, it was raining heavily and were were worried her lovely garden party would be ruined. When we arrived it was drizzling and everything was being moved out of the rain and the guests were crowded under tents. But, it wasn’t long before the clouds cleared and the sun came out. We all felt that Annabel brought us the sun to make her special day perfect.
Stories, music and memories were shared. Tea sandwiches, snacks and desserts were enjoyed. It was a beautiful send off for Annabel. We all miss you.
