The first inaugural South Asian Fashion week was hosted at Hard Rock Casino, Molson Canadian Theatre in Coquitlam from March 2 – March 4, 2018. The program included local designer fashions, runway shows, vendor booths, dj’s, prizes, mingling and more.
Aaarzu Magazine asked me to cover the event. We did interviews with some of the designers, caught the runway show and hovered around all the pretty people during the intermission.
It was an exciting event, it was so fun to watch all the beautiful men and women gathered together to show off the amazing fashions. The styles mixed modern and traditional Indian fashions together to create stunning collections by local designers. The energy was super upbeat, it was colourful, cool and intense.
