Fairmont Waterfront Styled Shoot

This spring, I hired a business consultant to help grow my business. The main thing we worked on together was creating a referral network so that I can get to know, meet and work with more Wedding Industry professionals. Through this process, I reached out to over 500 vendors. And, I was very happy to meet Nicole Folino at Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in downtown Vancouver. Nicole is the hotel’s new wedding and event manager and was also looking to meet more wedding vendors. Together we had the idea of doing a bridal styled photo shoot on their beautiful outdoor rooftop terrace. I was so excited that I immediately started to put a team together. It took quite a lot of time connecting with a variety of wedding vendors to make it all work and in the end I couldn’t have asked for a better team.

On the shoot day, the weather did not cooperate, it rained off and on all morning, making it impossible for us to set up our decor and photo gear. But, finally in the afternoon the sky cleared for just over an hour, long enough to set up and shoot. We all felt very relieved and accomplished. It was pretty amazing!
